Seeking Inspiration

I want to keep my beat interesting. Of course there are plenty of opportunities to find incredible tourism sites nearby in Ithaca, however, in searching for more information about Finger Lakes tourism I found this article:

The "Where to Stay In Finger Lakes" caught my eye.

The Belhurst Castle is a location I've never heard of. That also makes me think, how many other prominent Finger Lakes locations do I have yet to learn about. This featured lodging option reminds me of a larger scale Argos Inn, connecting it to my previous story.

I'm wondering the historical value in this castle. I also am curious if it is a wedding venue or event venue space because I could the location drawing in customers that way. Additionally, being inland, I think there is probably specific draw to this location considering it is on the shore of the lake.

I would love to explore this and I'd love your feedback on any other locations that you know of that you'd like for me to check out.

Some other aspects of tourism around the Finger Lakes that I would be interest at looking into would be the aviation scene. For less prominent cities, I feel like we have plenty of airports, including the Ithaca airport, the Rochester airport and even the Syracuse airport, I find to be smaller than most I've traveled through. I would love to know where most people are going to and from out of these airports, the efficiency and business that these airports generate and just how these smaller flying sites impact the regional tourism.
